About us

Mission

The mission of the Department is to implement a process of ecological transition and protection of biodiversity, and at the same time to guarantee quality food in the quantities necessary for a growing population. To these challenges DISBA contributes through the development of new biotechnological methods, advanced bio-economic models also with the use of artificial intelligence technologies.
