CyanoBox aims to develop
an innovative system that can perform
continuous monitoring of the quality of
cyanobacterial contaminated water remotely in
urban, rural, and isolated sites. It is anticipated
that the system will help sustain and even
improve the quality of surface water recourses
while at the same time safeguard mammalian
health and the wellness of the lake ecosystem
with its in-situ capacity to detect toxic
metabolites produced by cyanobacterial
harmful algal blooms (cyano-HABs).
